Kettle Geo - Caithness
Kettle Geo - Caithness
Giclee print of original acrylic on canvas painting ‘Kettle Geo’. The geo is an interesting geological feature on the Caithness coastline. It is a long, narrow, steep-sided cleft formed by erosion. The painting features the geo and South Stack, located near Whiterow.
Having always taken an interest in physical geography, I never get tired of painting the Caithness coastline. With so much to explore, I love finding sea arches, stacks and caves and composing them in a way that will make an interesting painting. This being perhaps a less well-known location, I think, is part of its charm.
Please note that all A sizes refer to the paper size. The image will have a white border to allow for mounting and framing.
